Description: Split up content of a chapter or section of material so that you have between 4-6 different parts (depending on class size and content). Break students up into 4-6 groups and assign each group one part of the content to become an expert on - you may need to provide guiding questions or a specific task to keep students on task. Allow each group to consolidate their answers and become “experts” on their part. Then split up the class into new groups so that each new group contains members from each of the content groups. Then have group members take turns teaching each other.
