Mediasite
The Mediasite Desktop Recorder (MDR) is a free screencasting tool available to HCC students, faculty, and staff that allows users to make digital recordings of lectures or presentations. Finished recordings are automatically uploaded and can be shared through Canvas or a unique web link. The MDR can be installed on any Mac or PC - even on your own personal device! You can manage or edit your finished videos in any web browser at mediasite.howardcc.edu.

How to Delete a Mediasite Video
HCC is asking faculty and staff to delete Mediasite content IF that content meets ALL of the following criteria:
1) The video/recording was created prior to 2017. 2) It has not been viewed since 2017. 3) The recording is not of an external speaker such as a Book Connection author, political figure, or special event speaker. 4) The video is not licensed Copyrighted or Public-facing material that was purchased for college use. View the video for instructions on how to identify content that meets this criteria and how to delete it. |
