If there is a need to temporarily suspend our face-to-face meetings, I will use Canvas in the following ways:
- Post regular reminders in the Announcements section for due dates and information
- Post and collect assignments through the Assignments section
- Post video recordings of my lectures
- Post required readings, PowerPoints and other materials for you to review
- Create Discussion Boards for the whole class and in small groups for us to connect as a class on the topics we are learning
- Use Google Docs to allow groups of students to collaborate on work
- Use Canvas quizzes to assess your understanding of our course material
- Continue to use the Gradebook to update your course grade
